Lauri Kivinen is a former Non-Resident Senior Fellow with the Digital Innovation Initiative at the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA).

Lauri is an international business executive with long experience in telecommunications, media, and European affairs.

He holds a master's degree in business from Turku School of Economics after studies in Finland and Switzerland. After more than 20 years in senior positions at Nokia, including heading global corporate communications and the Brussels representative office, he served from 2010 to 2018 as CEO of the Finnish Broadcasting company Yleisradio.

Mr. Kivinen was chairman of the Associates in the European Roundtable of the Industrialists (ERT) from 2006 to 2010 and a member of the Trilateral Commission from 2011 to 2018.

Kivinen currently works as an independent consultant, senior adviser, and board member in several companies with his focus on telecommunications, media, and digital affairs. He is based in Switzerland.
