The Future of U.S.-Ukraine Relations

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy congratulated President Joe Biden on his election with the hope that the new U.S. Administration would  “help strengthen relations, help settle the war in Donbas, and end the occupation of our territory.” However, seven years since Ukraine’s Revolution of Dignity, progress toward achieving peace and stability in the region remains stalled. Now, as the Biden Administration’s foreign policy begins to take shape, how can the United States and Ukraine forge stronger ties?

Ukraine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs H.E. Dmytro Kuleba discusses the key strategic priorities for the U.S.-Ukraine relationship and how the United States and Ukraine can work together to achieve Ukraine’s ambitions of Euro-Atlantic integration.
