Jason Bruder is a Non-resident Senior Fellow with the Democratic Resilience Program at the Center for European Policy Analysis.

Dr. Bruder is a former Senior Senate Foreign Relations Committee staffer and State Department official with twenty-five years of experience as a foreign policy advisor and practitioner. He earned his PhD in International Relations from the University of St. Andrews in the UK and his MA from The Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies. During the past twelve years, he has taught courses at Columbia and Georgetown universities on Russian foreign policy and lectured and written extensively on European and Eurasian conflicts. As a member of the U.S. Foreign Service, he also worked on U.S. relations with Turkey, Iran, and the United Nations.
