Washington, DC, July 27, 2022 – Today, the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA) is pleased to announce that Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Stephen Twitty is joining the organization as a Distinguished Fellow and member of its International Leadership Council (ILC), a high-level group of global thought leaders and decision-makers who share CEPA’s core mission of strengthening the transatlantic alliance and advise on CEPA’s strategic vision.

Gen. Twitty joins CEPA after 36 years of distinguished service with the US Army, having most recently served as Deputy Commander of US European Command. Previously, Gen. Twitty served in the Pentagon on the Joint Staff and Army Staff, US Northern Command, US Army Central Command, US Army Forces Command, International Security Assistance Force-Afghanistan, and Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe. He is a recipient of the Silver Star Medal.

Gen. Twitty is Board Director at Nusura, Inc., and a Board Advisor at Dataminr, Sarcos Robotics, Hypergiant, and HDT-Global. He also serves as Senior Advisor at the Roosevelt Group and as National Security and Military Analyst at MSNBC Cable News Network.
