Ukraine has been fighting against corruption at home for decades. Since 2014, Ukraine’s leaders have worked to strengthen anti-corruption mechanisms and improve oversight of state procurement. How effective have these efforts been and are they enough to attract potential investors? Yaroslav Yurchyshyn, Member of the Verkhovna Rada and First Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Anti-Corruption Policy, sits down with Elena Davlikanova to discuss Ukraine’s “domestic war on corruption.”
