Event Overview

Slovak Minister of Economy Peter Dovhun discusses Europe’s changing energy landscape and transatlantic support for Ukraine.

Since the onset of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Europe’s energy landscape has experienced substantial transformations. With Moscow wielding its energy exports as an economic weapon to deter support for Ukraine, countries across the continent are taking active steps to reduce their long-standing dependence on Russian resources. What efforts are countries taking to diversify their energy supply? What measures are needed to boost European energy security and Ukraine’s energy infrastructure?

Minister of Economy for the Slovak Republic Peter Dovhun sits down with Sam Greene to discuss energy security in Ukraine and Europe, economic effects of the war, and how to bolster transatlantic support for Ukraine.

Speaker:

H.E. Peter Dovhun, Minister of Economy, Slovak Republic

 Moderated by:
