Leaders and experts from the transatlantic community discuss the challenges facing the semiconductor supply chain and EU-US approaches to tackle them.
Event Overview
Semiconductors are strategically important given that they power the digital revolution, running our computers, electronics, and other key devices. As the US and EU seek to reduce dependency on China, government subsidies in the US CHIPS & Science Act and the European CHIPS Act aim to boost domestic output, encouraging the private sector to build new semiconductor labs in Poland and elsewhere. Will the transatlantic allies unite in their approach to supply chain resilience? Or will they compete against each other?
