Marianna Fakhurdinova is a Fellow at the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA) and Coordinator of the EU-Ukraine Partnership Program at the Transatlantic Dialogue Center (TDC).

Her research interests include European security, Ukraine’s EU and NATO integration, transatlantic defense cooperation, military support of Ukraine. Her research and commentary have appeared in leading outlets such as The Washington Post, Forbes, BBC London, Neue Zürcher Zeitung, EURACTIV, El Pais, RFI etc, as well as in publications from think tanks across Ukraine, the US, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic.

Fakhurdinova’s previous experience includes work with the Stockholm Center for Eastern European Studies (Sweden), the Center for Security Studies ETH Zurich (Switzerland), New Europe Center (Ukraine) and the Ukrainian embassy in Berlin. She teaches a proprietary course on NATO at the Kyiv School of Economics (Ukraine) and, for four years, delivered lectures on the EU as a Young European Ambassador within EU NEIGHBOURS East.

Marianna Fakhurdinova holds an MA in European Studies and a BA in International Relations from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. In 2023-2024, she completed a Fulbright Research Scholarship at the University of Southern California and CEPA.
