Henrik Larsen, PhD, is a Non-resident Fellow with the Digital Innovation Initiative at the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA). Until recently, he was a Senior Researcher at the Center for Security Studies at ETH Zürich focused on NATO and Ukraine. He previously served as a Political Adviser with the EU Delegation to Ukraine and with the EU Advisory Mission to Ukraine. He was a Research Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School, a Fellow with the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, and a Visiting Researcher at Stanford University. Henrik Larsen worked at the United Nations in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, at the École Militaire in Paris, and at the Russia Department of the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
His articles have appeared in The Washington Quarterly, The Texas National Security Review, The RUSI Journal, Survival, European Security, and the Journal of Transatlantic Studies, and he has published analyses and op-eds in Foreign Policy, Lawfare, War on the Rocks, and with several think tanks. He speaks English, French, German, Danish, and intermediate Russian.
