Since the start of Russia’s war in Ukraine, France has provided military aid as well as humanitarian and financial assistance. Earlier this year, France pledged additional support for Ukraine’s Spring Offensive following President Zelenskyy’s trip to meet with President Macron in France, further strengthening the alliance.
