Washington, DC, October 25, 2023 – Today, the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA) is pleased to announce that the former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson, is joining the organization as a member of its International Leadership Council (ILC).
Mr. Johnson joins CEPA’s high-level advisory group following his tenure as the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and as a Member of Parliament. A vocal supporter of Ukraine, Mr. Johnson joins a distinguished group of thought leaders.
CEPA’s President and CEO, Dr. Alina Polyakova, said: “It is an extraordinary honor to welcome Mr. Johnson to CEPA. His strategic and resolute commitment to Ukraine’s victory following Putin’s full-scale invasion set the policy agenda for the transatlantic alliance, marshaling unprecedented military and humanitarian support. His continued advocacy for ensuring that Ukraine wins its fight for freedom remains invaluable during this pivotal moment in the war.”

Boris Johnson was previously Foreign Secretary from 13 July 2016 to 9 July 2018 and also served as a Member of Parliament for a total of 15 years – representing Henley (2001-2008) and then Uxbridge & South Ruislip (2015-2023).
