Washington, DC, October 25, 2023 – Today, the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA) is pleased to announce that the former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson, is joining the organization as a member of its International Leadership Council (ILC).
Mr. Johnson joins CEPA’s high-level advisory group following his tenure as the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and as a Member of Parliament. A vocal supporter of Ukraine, Mr. Johnson joins a distinguished group of thought leaders.
CEPA’s President and CEO, Dr. Alina Polyakova, said: “It is an extraordinary honor to welcome Mr. Johnson to CEPA. His strategic and resolute commitment to Ukraine’s victory following Putin’s full-scale invasion set the policy agenda for the transatlantic alliance, marshaling unprecedented military and humanitarian support. Boris Johnson was previously Foreign Secretary from 13 July 2016 to 9 July 2018 and also served as a Member of Parliament for a total of 15 years – representing Henley (2001-2008) and then Uxbridge & South Ruislip (2015-2023).
