State of the Alliance: Latvia’s Support for Ukraine

March 8, 2023 at 10:00 am to 10:30 am

Event Overview

Ambassador Māris Selga explains how Latvia can help ensure Ukraine's path to victory.

Since Russia's full-scale invasion, Latvia has been a staunch partner for Ukraine, providing some of the largest amounts of military, financial, and humanitarian aid as a percentage of GDP and bolstering Ukraine's reconstruction efforts.

This discussion is part of CEPA’s “State of the Alliance,” a series bringing together thought leaders from Europe and North America to deliberate on the most pressing challenges facing allies and partners. For this special edition, marking one year since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Ambassador Māris Selga sits down with Sasha Stone to discuss the role of Latvia in fostering transatlantic cooperation and continued support for Ukraine.

Speaker:

H.E. Māris Selga, Ambassador of the Republic of Latvia to the United States

Moderated by:
