Ivan Fedorov is the Mayor of Melitopol, a city in southern Ukraine, which has been occupied by Russia since February 2022. Democracy Fellow Elina Beketova speaks to Fedorov to learn more about what daily life is like for those Ukrainians who remain under occupation, recent developments occurring on the ground, Ukrainian resistance efforts, and the possible paths to Melitopol's liberation from the Russian army.
