Join U.S. Ambassador to NATO Julianne Smith for the CEPA Forum 2023 as she discusses NATO's response to Russia's war in Ukraine and priorities for the alliance moving forward. Ambassador Smith sits down with CEPA Senior Fellow Charlotta Collén to examine NATO's achievements at the 2023 Vilnius summit, including new regional defense plans and increased support for Ukraine; developments in the Baltic Sea region following Finland's accession to NATO; NATO's efforts to address emerging technologies and hybrid threats; the impact of the war in Ukraine on defense capabilities and industrial bases; and the strengthening relationship between NATO and the European Union in coordinating assistance to Ukraine.
