Thomas Godward served as US Advisory Private Equity Leader at PwC and Account Executive for two publicly traded Global Diversified Asset managers that served Private Equity, Special Situations, Private Credit, Real Estate, and Infrastructure. Prior to PwC, Tom served on the Leadership team of PRTM Management Consultants, a global boutique strategy firm that focused on High Tech, Pharma & Lifesciences, Medical Devices, Automotive, Aerospace, and Industrials. Tom founded PRTM’s Private Equity Practice in 2004, ran the firm’s global benchmarking division, and was on the leadership team that executed the sale of PRTM to PwC. Prior to PRTM, Tom was an Aerospace Engineer in both the commercial and defense businesses at United Technologies’ Pratt & Whitney.
Tom has thirty years of global industry and leadership experience in product management, technology deployment, and supply chain, in addition to industry depth in telecommunications, medical technology, industrials, aerospace, and defense (US DoD and UK MoD). Tom is an M&A expert advising BoDs and C-suite executives on capital deployment priorities, business strategy, and operations. Tom has substantive global experience, with extended periods of service in Western Europe, the UAE, China and Southeast Asia, Japan, Canada and select locales in South America.
Tom earned his MBA from the University of Chicago, MS from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute at the Hartford Graduate Center, and BS from the University of Connecticut, each with Honors Distinction.
