Matthew Eitel is Special Assistant to the President & CEO at the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA).
His research is focused on the nexus of EU-US technology, trade, and national security, particularly export controls and transatlantic tech policies vis-à-vis China. Previously, Matthew was a Program Officer for CEPA’s Digital Innovation Initiative. Prior to joining CEPA, he researched economic sanctions under Ambassador Norman Eisen (ret.) at the Brookings Institution.
Matthew graduated summa cum laude from Indiana University's O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs with a BSPA in Policy Analysis.
