Martin Pospisil is a Senior Economist at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), where he works on projects supporting economic development in Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and Caucasus. Martin has over 15 years of experience working with various international organizations, such as the United Nations and the OECD, where he contributed to several publications on topics such as trade, innovation, and governance. He also served as a board member of an international development NGO and worked at the Czech central bank. He holds advanced degrees in economics from CERGE-EI and Charles University in Prague, and an MSc. in Management from VSE Prague and the London School of Economics. To improve his understanding of Russia's War on Ukraine, Martin is currently pursuing an M.A. in International Affairs at the Defence Studies Department, King’s College London.
