Martin Nastišin works at the Department of Disarmament and Counterterrorism within the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, where he actively monitors and controls international arms trade both for government and private entities. Before assuming this position, he spent 3 years as a diplomat at the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Seoul, South Korea, and 2 years working at the Department of European Policies. Prior to joining the ministry, Martin worked for the NGO sector in Slovakia and the Czech Republic, focusing on security policy and public diplomacy for more than 7 years. He holds a master’s degree in international relations from the University of Matej Bel in Banska Bystrica, Slovakia.
