Luka Ignac is a nonresident Fellow with the Transatlantic Defense and Security program at the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA).

He focuses on the intersection of emerging technology, geopolitics, and defense, with a particular interest in defense innovation and EU-NATO cooperation. He is an AI Policy Officer at the Centre for Future Generations (CFG), where he examines how developments in AI and global political trends shape governance, security, and defense policies.

Previously, Ignac served as assistant director of the Transatlantic Security Initiative within the Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security at the Atlantic Council. He is a frequent commentator on transatlantic security, providing analysis for CNBC, Euronews, N1, and Voice of America, and has worked across the private, public, and nonprofit sectors on both sides of the Atlantic. Ignac is also a lecturer with Purdue University's Benjamin Franklin Transatlantic Fellowship.

Ignac holds a graduate degree from Georgetown University, where he was an inaugural Donald F. McHenry Global Public Service Fellow, and graduated summa cum laude from DePauw University. A native of Zagreb, Croatia, he is based in Brussels.
