Kseniya Sotnikova is an Ax:son Johnson Fellow with the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA).
Dr. Kseniya Sotnikova is an experienced academic and practitioner with an extensive record within the Ukrainian security sector & international organizations working in the country. This includes 9 years in the Ukrainian public service, mainly at the National Security and Defence Council, dealing with UA-EU UA-NATO political & security cooperation, then 8 years working for the EU Advisory Mission (EUAM Ukraine) focusing on the civilian security sector reform, and until recent – as Senior Political Analyst at the NATO Representation to Ukraine.
Sotnikova is also affiliated with the George C. Marshall European Center For Security Studies, the Warsaw Euro-Atlantic Summer Academy and an alumna of several international programs, including the Professional Fellows Program implemented by the American Councils for International Education.
Dr. Sotnikova holds a Ph.D. in Political Science (security studies), as well as an MA in Philosophy and an MA in International Economics.
