Kathleen Turner is a Senior Fellow with the Transatlantic Defense and Security program at the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA).
Kathy is a strategic communications executive and US Military Veteran with nearly 30 years of experience leading high-impact teams, advising senior leaders, and managing organizational reputation.
She has vast expertise in crisis communication, media relations, and executive-level operations, serving in several key position across the United States, Europe, and the Pacific. Kathy has a BA in Business Administration from Western New England University, an MA in public administration from Central Michigan University, and an MA in military arts from the School of Advanced Military Studies.
Kathy is currently serving as the Assistant Director of Communications at the National Park Service. She manages the national communications program, from public affairs to the digital experience, leading the teams that provide policy and guidance for communicators across the National Park Service.
Her research and speaking interests include Misinformation and Disinformation impacts to global security, European theater impacts to National Security, American foreign policy, and NATO.
