Kaitlyn Garman is a Senior Fellow with the Tech Policy Program at the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA).
Ms. Garman is Senior Vice President at Beacon Global Strategies, where she focuses on global technology and national security policy. Before joining BGS, Ms. Garman worked in the Office of the Secretary of Defense as a Confidential Assistant to the Secretary of Defense and his Chief of Staff. For her time in this role, she received the Secretary of Defense Medal for Outstanding Public Service. Prior to her time at the Pentagon, she worked as a research analyst at a major defense contractor, focusing on international security, communications, and legislative affairs.
Ms. Garman graduated from Gettysburg College magna cum laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She holds a master’s degree in International Affairs from Georgetown University and lives in Washington, DC, with her husband and two children.
