Former Ambassador von Loringhoven is a Distinguished Fellow at the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA).

Arndt Freytag von Loringhoven is a former German diplomat and intelligence professional. He was Ambassador to the Czech Republic (2014-2016) and to the Republic of Poland (2020-2022). He was also deputy director of Germany´s Foreign Intelligence Service and later served as NATO's first Assistant Secretary General for Intelligence and Security (2016-2019). In 2024,  he published the book (in German) “Putin's attack on Germany: disinformation, propaganda, cyber attacks“. His present work is focused on hybrid warfare.
