Alyssa Cordero is the Executive Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer at the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA) and a MAIR Graduate Student at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS)

She previously served as the Program Assistant for Business Development at CEPA. Her interests include global health and environmental sustainability. Alyssa’s past internships include time spent as a Development Associate at Students Against Child Marriage and as a Grassroots Marketing Intern at Play4TheCure, a sports fundraising program of the National Foundation for Cancer Research. She graduated from American University in 2021 with a B.A. in International Relations. In November of 2021, she co-authored a commentary article, “Unrealized potential from smaller institutions: Four strategies for advancing STEM diversity” published in Cell.
