Help Support Independent Russian Voices

The Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA) is pleased to announce the Democracy Fellowship, which provides a critical lifeline for independent Russian journalists, researchers, and activists who are no longer able to continue their work due to the repressive environment for civil society in Russia today.

About the Democracy Fellowship

Highly qualified independent Russian journalists, researchers in the social sciences, and activists will be selected for year-long fellowships to be in residence at CEPA in Washington, DC. They will engage in conducting independent writing and research in their areas of expertise with the goal of providing truthful information to educate the public as well as policymakers in the United States and Europe. CEPA will provide all logistical support for travel as well as a stipend. For information on how to apply for the fellowship, please email careers@cepa.org.

CEPA’s mission is to ensure a strong and enduring transatlantic alliance rooted in democratic values and principles. The organization has a long track record of recruiting and hosting fellows from the region with an alumni cohort of over 60 over the course of 17 years.
