Kulani Abendroth-Dias is a Nonresident Senior Fellow with CEPA's Defense Tech Initiative. Kulani is a Strategic Analyst with the Organization for Economic Development and Co-operation (OECD) in Paris, France, and a Ph.D. candidate in International Relations/Political Science at the Graduate Institute for International and Development Studies (IHEID) in Geneva, Switzerland. She works at the intersection between social psychology, economics, and emerging technologies. A TEDx speaker on “Why Good People Do Bad Things - And What We Can Do About It”, Kulani formerly worked with the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research (UNIDIR, Geneva) and as a behavioral scientist at the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the United Nations Peacebuilding Fund. She has an M.A. in Social Psychology from Princeton University (USA) and an MSc. in European Integration specializing in Economics, Security, and External Relations from the Institute for European Studies (VUB) in Brussels, Belgium.
