Military mobility deters NATO’s adversaries and gives transatlantic leaders options. Over the last year, the Center for European Policy Analysis's (CEPA) military mobility work has examined challenges to Allied military mobility, cultivated a network of interdisciplinary experts and practitioners working on these issues, and outlined concrete proposals for improving mobility in Europe. Our 2020 Military Mobility Workshop convened over one hundred multinational participants to explore five geographic scenarios testing military mobility across Europe.

CEPA presented the preliminary takeaways in October 2020. Building on these deliberations, CEPA is now proud to present the culminating report of this effort, which offers a comprehensive assessment of military mobility in Europe, captures ultimate findings from our scenario workshop, and outlines policy recommendations for the way ahead. At this final launch event, speakers unpack the report’s key insights and practical applications, the latest efforts in Europe to improve military mobility, and critical next steps.
