CEPA Roundtable with LTG Luckey, Commanding General of the U.S. Army Reserve
On Tuesday, April 9 CEPA hosted a roundtable discussion featuring LTG Charles D. Luckey, Commanding General of the U.S. Army Reserve. The conversation was moderated by Peter B. Doran, CEPA's President.
The United States and its allies continue to develop responses to the 21st century security challenges facing NATO’s Eastern Frontier. As the Commanding General for the U.S. Army Reserve, LTG Luckey is responsible for providing the many U.S. Army Reserve troops that enable and sustain U.S. expeditionary operations around the world, including Europe. During the discussion, participants considered: the role of the U.S. Army Reserve and its benefit to Europe and NATO’s Eastern Flank; how the U.S. Army Reserve is responding to priorities in the U.S. National Defense Strategy; and how the U.S. Army Reserve can increase interaction and cooperation with allies in Europe.
