Power Vertical Podcast Ep. 33
A scandal in Austria causes a government to fall and highlights the willingness of Western politicians to play ball with—and take payoffs from—Moscow. With elections to the European Parliament underway, the continent braces for a wave of Russian meddling. New reports allege that Kremlin-linked oligarch Yevgeny Prigozhin is seeking to stir up racial tension in the United States.
Active measures and influence operations have long been part of the Russian intelligence services’ playbook. And today, we’ll take a closer look at the Kremlin’s dark tradecraft—and how effective it really is.
Listen to the latest Power Vertical Podcast as host Brian Whitmore and CEPA’s Donald N. Jensen are joined by special guest John Sipher, a 28-year veteran of the Central Intelligence Agency’s National Clandestine Service.
